SATSOL was first established in 2010 as a Digital Pay TV Company and expanded to become an Internet Service Provider in 2013. As a locally owned company, we understand the importance of staying connected with the rest of the world and we strive to provide quality and affordable Internet and TV that is consistent with international standards.
As one of Solomon Islands only three Internet Service Providers, SATSOL currently provides approximately 20% of the country’s Internet bandwidth. We own and operate the highest teleport in Guadalcanal, overlooking the capital city of Honiara, and we have built the largest wireless ISP (WISP) network in the country. We also provide other Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Services including provincial/remote satellite Internet connections, IP-telephony, digital security systems, networking support, cloud services, data warehousing, vessel monitoring systems, Wi-Fi hotspots, and tailored corporate communication solutions. Our corporate customers include the Solomon Island Government (SIG), major businesses and NGO’s, and numerous hotels around Honiara.
Through our experienced technical and network support team which consists mainly of Solomon Islanders, we strive to achieve our Vision “Deliver superior user experience and quality digital connections”. We have received multiple awards from the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce & Industry including Winner of the Excellence in Emerging Business (2013, 2014), and runner-up for Excellence in Service Delivery (2015).

We are currently making a significant investment in infrastructure to ensure our network and services will be “fibre ready” when the fibre optic cable arrives in the Solomon Islands at the end of 2019.
